IE AutoLogin Online Help - How to Use the Field Editor

IE AutoLogin Editor provides convenient and user-friendly way to edit and remove existing form fields, or create User-defined fields.

Opening of the Editor window can be achieved in one of the following ways:

  • click on IE AutoLogin button of the toolbar
  • right-click on the web page and select IE AutoLogin->Editor menu item
  • select Tools->IE AutoLogin menu item from the main Internet Explorer menu

Left part of Editor screen contains tree with 2 root nodes and right part contains list of form fields.

How to use Tree of Links

The 2 root nodes include: User and Internet.

  • User node contains User-defined fields (see introduction).
  • Internet node holds collection of all URL nodes representing the webpages (for example: http://www.paypal.com/) previously saved. URL node contains a collection of profile nodes belonging to the webpage.

Profiles are added using Save button of IE AutoLogin Toolbar while browsing. (see how to save login profile)

To remove a profile or all profiles belonging to a given URL node use the following procedure:

  • Select a profile/URL node you want to delete by clicking on it
  • Select one of the following options:
    • Click Remove Node button on editor toolbar
    • Select Edit->Remove Node menu item from editor main menu
    • Use Alt + Del key on your keyboard
    • Open the context menu by right-clicking in the Tree section and select Remove Node menu item.

When you remove a node the Editor removes all form fields that belong to it, and in the case of a URL node all profile nodes with their respective fields will also be removed.

How to use List of Form Fields

  • Update Field value by typing a new value or selecting it from drop-down box.
  • Save modified Field value by clicking on it, or by using Enter key on your keyboard.
  • If you don't want to save modified Field value use Esc key on your keyboard.

  • Select the Field you want to delete by clicking on it
  • Select one on the next options:
    • Click Remove User Field button on editor toolbar
    • Select Edit->Remove User Field menu item from editor main menu
    • Use Ctrl + Del key on your keyboard
    • Open the context menu by right-clicking in the Field Section and select Remove User Field menu item
