When you download the web page IE AutoFill automatically highlights all fillable
form controls on it. The control is highlighted if the downloaded web page have been
previously saved into application database or if it matches one of the field from
Global category data.
Highlighting color can be set up in the options dialog form of the
editor.
Filling of the current web form(s) can be done in the following ways:
- click on Fill button of IE AutoFill toolbar (Default
filling category will be used that can be set in the editor options)
- click on Fill button's drop-down menu and choose the desired
category
- choose Fill Form menu item from the context menu by right-clicking
anywhere on the web page and select the desired category from the submenu
NOTE: Fill button of IE AutoFill toolbar will
be disabled and Fill Form menu item will be unavailable under
the following conditions:
- if downloaded web page does not contain web forms
- if downloaded web page has not been previously saved, or
application database does not contain any controls for the web page
- if no control from downloaded web page matches
to a field from the Global category data
