When you download the web page IE AutoFill automatically highlights all fillable
form controls on it. The control is highlighted if the downloaded web page have been
previously saved into application database or if it matches one of the field from
Global category data.
Highlighting color you can set up in the options dialog form of the
editor.
To fill single field you have to right click on the control you want to populate.
IE AutoFill provides the following menu items:
- Fill Field - using this menu item you can populate one
highlighted control of the form with the data from database. If HTML page
contains more than one Fields with the same name Fill Field
menu item will includes submenu with different values.
NOTE: This menu item will be available only if the current form
control has been previously saved into application database.
- Fill Field As… - using this menu item you can populate
any text, textarea or password control of the form with the data fromContext Menu fields
(see
introduction).
The Context Menu field consist of description, control type (text, textarea or password),
and value. Upon clicking on the menu item the user will be presented with a dialog form
containing the list of Context Menu field descriptions. Only descriptions
of the Context Menu fields matching the type of the control to be populated
will be shown.
NOTE: This menu item will be available only if the current form
control type has Context Menu fields in the application database.
